That time of year again ey?! I hope you've all had brilliant 2021s and are looking forward to the festive season as much as we are here at TF! However, we do understand this can be a tough time of year for many of us. The added pressure of providing a Christmas dinner and gifts for friends and family can be a strain, so we've decided this year to support a wonderful charity called Family Action.
The pandemic has put many families under stress, and rises in the cost of living mean more families don't have anything to spare, so TF will be donating to the Family Action Christmas Toy Appeal to those struggling to help make Christmas a bit more magic and spread festive cheer ✨

Something Family Action also specialises in is Mental Health work, a cause TF is particularly passionate about. In the UK, mental illness accounts for a third of all illnesses at any given time. Family Action provides specialist mental health and wellbeing services for adults. They work not only with the individual directly affected but also with their children and whole families. They are non-judgemental and focus on building on individual and family strengths in order to support the family towards recovery. They also recognise that supporting an individual’s sense of emotional wellbeing can prevent an escalation to more serious mental health issues and we offer a range of services that take this early intervention approach.
