MHG Chisels - An Overview

MHG Premium Chisels

These chisels have a real high quality finish with a nice polish blade on them aswell as bevelled edges.

These come in many sizes ranging from 12mm right up to 38mm.

The handles are hand oiled and made from Ash. They have a flat spot top and bottom to help stop the chisels from rolling off the work bench.

There is also a nice ferrule around the handle with a ring on the end, this is to stop splitting out after heavy duty use!

MHG Timber Tool Boxset

This set comes in a beautiful Beech presentation box and has 3 different sizes inside; 1", 1 1/2" and 2" chisels.

All of these have been manufactured in Germany and offer a heavy duty socket to allow for real heavy duty use..

MHG | Socket Chisels 16mm - 35mm

Designed for superior performance, these socket chisels from MHG are relatively large and thanks to their robustness are also suitable for carpentry applications.

The primary bevel is 30°, the additional micro-bevel increases this angle by a small amount. This micro-bevel extends no more than about 0.5 mm from the cutting edge, more is not necessary.
